Best Retina Display

The Apple MacBook Pro combines the fundamental qualities of an ultraportable device with uncompromising performance. Apple reduced the overall volume of this Apple MacBook Pro dramatically. This redesign resulted in an extremely purposeful and powerful creative tool. This Apple MacBook Pro has the best Retina display ever put in a Macbook laptop. A precisely designed LED spectrum projects through a metal oxide backplane. This LED yields a remarkably bright, high-contrast picture with a wider color gamut.

The larger Force Touch trackpad provides an expansive area for a whole range of gestures. In this Apple Macbook pro, Apple continued to refine its keyboard design – making it more accurate and efficient. Dome switches beneath each key have been optimized for a more responsive feel. In this new Apple Macbook Pro model, Apple introduced a new way for a user to interact with his/her notebook. A Multi-Touch bar provides a more intuitive, more immediate connection to the content. Commands that were once hidden are now visible, easily accessible, and also customizable.  In each application, the most relevant controls are displayed dynamically, allowing you to work with greater efficiency. This is also the first Apple Macbook Pro with Touch ID. Actually, this is the first MAC, period, with Touch ID. The seamless integration of hardware and software is a phenomenon that is truly unique to Apple.

Optimized Performance and Portability

At its core, pro-level processors, integrated with high speed system memory and storage technologies, make everything you do faster and more responsive. In a notebook this powerful, thermal management is critical. Thinner, variably spaced fan blades propel air quietly through a nearly solid structure.  The Apple MacBook Pro achieves a design that optimizes both performance and portability. It marks a milestone in the evolution of the Mac. Now that we have looked closely at the Apple Macbook Pro, let’s go over the main features and specs of the other two models: the Macbook, and the Macbook Air. Then, we will briefly match up each model to different types of people.

Main Features

Alright, so let’s look at the MacBook. This MacBook became available in April 2015. At the time, the base model started at $1299. This model became the first MacBook to be available in 3 different colors: silver, gold and space gray – just like the iPads and iPhones. The Macbook sports a 12 inch IPS Retina display with 3 million pixels. It has an Intel Core M mobile processor inside along with 8 GB of RAM and at least 256 GB of flash storage.

Who is the Macbook for?

So, who is this Apple MacBook for, exactly? Well, it’s for a very small target market. This MacBook is for you if you are an Apple junkie. If you just want the latest Apple product – just because it’s the newest and the latest and you just got to have it, and you want the newest latest Apple features on a laptop, then this is your laptop.

This one is sporting that new Force Touch Trackpad. It also has the new butterfly mechanism keyboard. So, if you just want those added features, then ,you’re going to get this laptop. If you care about looks more than performance, this sexy-looking Macbook is for you. It’s got the Retina display, and it comes in three colors. So, if you want a gold laptop, again, you’re going to buy this one, So, we’ve established that this Macbook looks good. The real question is: Does it perform as good as it looks? And, more to the point, does it out-perform the other Apple laptops on the market?

Macbook

Apple’s Thinnest and Lightest Laptop

Also, this laptop is recommended if you want something that is ultra portable and ultra mobile. This is Apple’s thinnest and lightest laptop to date. It weighs just over 2 lbs and it has a 9 hour battery life. This Macbook is recommended if you’re running basic applications like web browsing, email, office suites, productivity software, or anything really basic like that. It is not recommended if you’re running anything too CPU-intensive because the Intel core M mobile processor is not very powerful at all. The Intel Core M processor is made for mobile devices, so if you’re just doing basic applications it should be fine for you.

Macbook – Only One External Port

Also, this laptop is fine if you don’t use a lot of USB devices or other external devices, such as SD cards. If you don’t need to hook up your camera or charge you iPhone or iPad with your laptop, then you should be OK with this laptop. However, if you want to connect an external monitor, then you will need an adapter. Those adapters are pretty expensive if you buy from Apple. This MacBook only has one port – a USB Type C port.  So, you only have that one USB C port for charging, input and output. If you don’t Skype or Face Time or you don’t need to record HD videos using your webcam, then, again, this laptop will work fine for you. It only has a 480p web cam on it, not a 720p. If you want a laptop that mostly resembles an iPad, this is it. This laptop is fine for you if most of your documents and data and your digital life is pretty much all wireless and on the cloud. This laptop is great for a student doing mostly word processing.

Macbook Price

And finally, this laptop is for you if you have the budget for it. This thing is really expensive. The price is $1299. You’re sacrificing performance and power for the sexiness of it. So, if any of those things describe you, you might want to think about getting the Apple MacBook.
